Is it really already 2016?  Been awhile, hasn't it?  Heading to GenCon in a few weeks and will hopefully get some better shots of my Casual Shepard cosplay.  Working on some Wheel of Time/Star Wars Crossover for a convention in April next year.  Hopefully will get my 501st costume off the ground soon as well.  Until then its WoW Beta and the everyday grind of work and parenting.  

So summer is coming to an end.  I've been finishing up an internship for school and generally spending what little free time I have prepping for Dragon Con, playing WoW and Dragon Age.  I'll be heading to Dragon Con on Thursday, looking forward to a long weekend away from home and hanging out with friends. So here's to the end of Summer and the coming of Autumn.

Most of my hobbies, except for DragonAge, have taken a back seat to school and work recently.  I miss being able to sit down and attempt (and I do mean attempt) to draw things.  Someday maybe after I finish school for the second time around...

So another Yule has passed and winter has come.

The air's turned colder, and I look forward to when the warmth breath of spring once more blows across my cheek.  Still, the winter is a necessity of life, a time of rest for the world, and a time of reflection for us.

So whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year, I hope the season is a safe and happy one for you.  Take the time to reflect on life and try not to lose yourself too much in the insanity that can come from the hype of the season.  Enjoy this time we've been given.
